I. PERFORMANCE CONSULTING
Smithson-Bell Consulting will work with your executive and management teams in a collaborative way to identify the performance required of your organization’s human capital in order to meet business goals. We provide a systematic approach to analyzing, improving, and managing performance in the workplace through the use of appropriate and varied interventions.
II. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Smithson-Bell Consulting will custom design and facilitate training programs on a number of different topic areas, including diversity, change management, communications, customer services, leadership, performance appraisal, presentation skills, sexual harassment prevention, supervision, teamwork, telephone techniques, and workplace violence prevention. Additionally, many of our staff are certified in a number of different vendor programs including, Blessing White’s Managing Personal Growth; Miller Heiman/Achieve Global’s Leadership 2000 Series and Team Effectiveness; Barnes and Conti’s Exercising Influence; and Halloway-Gaulf’s Improving Work Processes.
III. TRAINER / PARTICIPANT GUIDES AND TRAIN-THE-TRAINER PROGRAMS
Smithson-Bell Consulting is often called into organizations to provide instructional design expertise for content that is mandated by local, state, or federal agencies that need to be customized and institutionalized for a particular organization. We custom design programs that become organizational initiatives or mandates designed by the organization to help reach its strategic direction. Our expertise is in taking the content to be disseminated and turning it into an exciting, interactive training module that will keep the interest of the audience who must learn from its content. Some of that design work includes developing the instructor and participant guides. Sometimes the request is to develop a train-the-trainer component so that others within the organization may conduct the content in the future to large numbers of employees within the organization after the initial training has occurred.
Curriculum custom designed by Smithson-Bell Consulting using the format and structure outlined above includes: Americans with Disabilities Laws, Diversity, Equal Employment Opportunity Laws, Organizational Values, Worklife Balance, Sexual Harassment Prevention and Workplace Violence Prevention.
We have also conducted sessions from the curriculum designed above, since we are often included in the train-the-trainer sessions of a particular content.
IV. SOLE FACILITATION OF EXISTING ORGANIZATIONAL INITIATIVES / MANDATES
Smithson-Bell Consulting is available to provide stand-up training for organizations who have developed their own content for a particular subject area, specific to that organization, but who need help with the delivery to large groups of managers and supervisors or to all employees.
Content in this category may include, but is not limited to: Performance Appraisal, Customer Service, Change Management, Managing the Remote Worker and Organizational Values.
V. ONE-ON-ONE COACHING
